Medieval Softbound Handmade Leather Journal
When you get your hands on one of these beautiful handmade blank leather journals, you will be hooked! Each book is hand sewn using a medieval German binding which is both decorative and functional. Because of the way these journals are made, the pages lie completely flat when the book is open. All of the pages are hand torn, luxurious long fiber paper made of 100% cotton. Because the pages are hand torn, the edges of the paper have a rough texture, giving a handmade and "rustic" aesthetic. The paper stock used is thick enough to accept almost any media from pen and ink to light water media. Between the cover and first page, a purple marbled decorative handmade paper is used for the fly page. This leather travel journal cover measures approximately 10"(high) by 7 inches, text block (pages) are slightly smaller. Natural twine adorned with beads wraps around a silver stamped button journal flap to secure it closed. A ribbon is sewn in to each book to mark which page you are on. Each book has 96 sheets (192 pages) unlined pages. Perfect to use as a journal or a sketchbook! Made in Colorado.
