Revive Your Creative Pulse & Keep Your Creative Joy Alive!
Friday, July 10th, 10:00-Noon MST
Instructor: Cynthia Morris
You know it’s in there - your creative pulse. But with the current crazy, it’s been hard to hear the call to create. You are coping with an ever-changing life and your projects may have been put aside. Sometimes it feels like our own creative endeavors aren’t important. What if your creativity were the very thing that could help you thrive? What if playing with art gives you a new way to go forward?
Creativity coach, author, and artist Cynthia Morris will help you remember how to be the creative dynamo you have been since birth. Cynthia has enjoyed a creative practice for over 17 years. She attributes her professional success and personal well-being to staying connected to her creative joy. She has helped hundreds of writers, artists, and entrepreneurs bring their great ideas to life.
In this interactive workshop you will learn how to:
-Give yourself permission to make just for play’s sake
-Unplug from the need to be ‘good’ or efficient
-Generate ideas for what to do next so you never feel stuck again
During this online Zoom workshop, you will use creative tools such as Free-writing, Mind Mapping, Listing, and Doodling. Think of this as a fun date with your artist that will give you direction for your creating. In this workshop, you will connect with the heart of your creativity. You’ll find ways to revive your creative pulse to be more creative and joyful.
Have the following materials at hand before the class starts:
- A picture of you when you felt most creative.
- Notebook or paper
- A few favorite pens, colored markers, pencils, washi tape, stickers, etc.You will be doing simple exercises to get your creative juices flowing. You don’t need a lot of supplies, just bring the tools that make you feel happy.

Cynthia Morris, a published author and creativity coach, has been keeping written journals since 1994 and started filling them with colorful illustrations in 2004. She has written two e-books on how anyone can use art-making techniques to enjoy life more. Her mission? To help people have more fun and feel more creative. When Cynthia’s not in her Denver office, she’s riding her bicycle, practicing yoga, frolicking in the park, whipping up a feast in the kitchen, snuggled up reading a book, or popping over to Europe. Through her company Original Impulse, Cynthia leads creativity workshops in Europe like the one she teaches at Two Hands Paperie. She finds that keeping an illustrated journal makes her happy.
