Tangled Stars – 3Z Tiles NEW! Class
Sunday, December 2, 1:00-4:00pm
Instructor: Annie Reiser
We think the 3Z Zentangle® tiles, which are shaped like equilateral triangles, are a fun alternative to the standard squares. Gluing two of the 3Z tiles together creates slightly dimensional stars, which can be framed, hung in a window, added to a wrapped gift, or used as a unique decoration for Christmas trees and wreaths. This six-pointed “canvas” is interesting to work with, though, even if just for the fun of it. Certified Zentangle® Teacher Annie Reiser will point out the interesting design possibilities offered by the 3Z star. The slight dimensionality created by stacking the tiles lends itself to creating braided effects and is enhanced by adding shading and highlights. To make your star sparkle, add metallic inks and paint! This class is for both beginning and experienced Zentanglers alike. Beginners will learn and practice some basic patterns. If you can draw a dot, a circle, a straight line, and a curved line, you have all the skills required. Experienced students can either do a quick review or jump right in, perhaps taking on the challenge of a nine-pointed star!
All materials provided.
Cancellations made up to 14 days prior to the first class meeting will be refunded or, at the participant's option, used to pay for another class. Two Hands Paperie will retain a $10 processing fee for EACH class cancelled by a participant. After 14 days, there is no refund or credit. In addition, the fee for a class cancelled within this 14-day timeframe by a participant cannot be transferred to pay for another class. These policies are to ensure that teachers are compensated for their investment in materials and in time spent preparing for the class. We reserve the right to cancel a class if fewer than 3 students enroll 48 hours prior to the scheduled class time. If for any reason Two Hands Paperie cancels a class, students will be called at the phone number on file and refunded the FULL class fee.
