Zentangle® – Going Green Zendala Class ONLINE
Tuesday, May 11, 1:00 - 3:30pm MDT
Instructor: Annie Reiser
Limit: 15 students. Includes class kit + shipping
Celebrate the greens of spring! Annie Reiser, a certified Zentangle® teacher and art instructor at the Denver Botanic Gardens, thinks of this new Zendala as representing a little round Zen garden. Its organic design consists of her favorite tangles from a Zentangle® project, which involved six different Zendalas. For this class you’ll do just this one. To simplify learning the new pattern, Annie provides Tangle Tags for “stepping out” each tangle. (To step out means to break down a pattern into its component parts and build it back up one line at a time.) The Green Zendala’s intricate design looks like it would take more than just a few hours, but in fact it goes quickly. One student, who says she never finishes anything in class, happily shared her completed Zendala at the end. Join Annie to enjoy creating beautiful art the Zentangle® way – one step at a time. The Green Zendala is a fun project for both beginning and seasoned tanglers. What a great way to celebrate spring!

Annie Reiser has returned to what feeds her soul - art. Years ago she earned degrees in both German and art. Family and career took her down other pathways, but art has always been a lifetime companion. A potter, spinner, knitter, weaver, and painter, Annie now devotes more of her creative time to illustrating nature. She's a graduate of the Denver Botanic Gardens School of Botanical Art and Illustration, where she teaches part-time. She's also an active member of the Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists and the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators. Annie is a certified Zentangle® teacher (CZT) and "zentangles" daily.
