Watch Tin Diorama Online Class
Friday, Dec 3, 1-3:30pm MDT
Tracy Bellehumeur

To receive your class kit in time for class, register by Nov 12 if outside Colorado or Nov 19 if in Colorado.

Join local artist Tracy Bellehumeur to create a miniature, three-dimensional world that fits inside a watchmaker’s tin. Tracy often works with a woodland theme, but the small watch tin works well for an old photo, a family tree, some holiday items, a small treasure, or the odd thing saved from a favorite trip. Maybe you’d like to make something whimsical just for fun!

Choose a theme for your diorama ahead of time or else be inspired by items in the little kit Tracy has assembled for you. There are enough found objects, ephemera, images, bits of nature, and other odds and ends for two watch tin dioramas. Tracy will demonstrate techniques for layering objects inside the tin and how to embellish the scene with text and the tiniest of flying creatures. Voila! A charming little scene that makes an unusual ornament or gift for the holidays.

This online class will be recorded and made available to class participants for 10 days after the class.
