About Two Hands Paperie

Two Hands Paperie was founded by Diana Phillips in 1993. Over the years the store has grown from a small bindery with a few hand-bound books and a small rack of decorative paper to carrying hundreds of journals and notebooks and over 30 racks of paper. Customers tell us how important Two Hands Paperie is to them and how they couldn’t imagine Boulder without us.

Diana Phillips has since moved on to new adventures, but will always remain a part of the store. The current owners, Mia Semingson and Gerald Trainor, have as their goal to maintain the current and original emphasis of the store- to provide an eclectic variety of hand-made journals and cards, books, art supplies, decorative paper, and unique gifts from around the world.

At Two Hands Paperie we have a paper selection that represents every corner of the globe. We carry writing instruments, inks, and stationery to inspire the writer in you. We have books to help you build on your own ideas, and art and bookbinding supplies to see the process through. The art of paper is our passion and our goal is to help our customers explore their ideas and creativity in and on paper.
