REGISTRATION & DEADLINES
No prior experience is required for our classes. Since class size is limited we recommend signing up early. Some classes have multiple sessions, so be sure to check the dates and times listed before registering. Generally, classes are designed for ages 15 or older and no prior experience is required. For in-store classes, register up to the day before. For online classes, register 14 days in advance to receive your class kit in time.
CLASS IS SOLD OUT- WHAT DO I DO?
Please visit the specific class on our website and click the "NOTIFY ME WHEN AVAILABLE" button, then add your email to receive an automated message when a spot becomes available.
MATERIALS & KITS
The class fee includes most materials. Check the class description online to see what you might need to bring for in-store classes. For online classes, check to see what you need to have on hand. Kits for online classes are are mailed approximately 2 weeks before via USPS to the address you gave at registration.
COVID SAFETY FOR IN-STORE CLASSES
Masks are currently optional but encouraged for all students and instructors. The size of our class space does not allow for social distancing. Students will be provided their own set of tools, which are sanitized between every class session. The requirements for store staff and customers will follow Boulder County mask and safety mandates. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
In-Store Classes – cancel 14 days before the first class meeting to receive a refund. We’ll cancel a class if fewer than 3 students are enrolled 48 hours before the class.
Online Classes – cancel 21 days before the first class meeting to receive a refund. We’ll cancel a class if fewer than 3 students are enrolled 14 days before the class. If the class kit has shipped, we deduct the price of the kit plus shipping from any refund.
We retain a $10 processing fee for each class canceled before the cancellation deadline. We can either apply the remaining funds to another class or else issue a refund. For cancellations after the cancellation deadline there is no refund or credit (no additional fees will be charged). If we cancel a class, we’ll contact you by email and refund the FULL class fee.
We’ll email you a class reminder, typically on the Monday beforehand. The email contains information about materials, any pre-class work, and a link if the class is online. No email? Check your spam folder, then double check the email you used at registration- it's on your order confirmation. Still an issue? Contact email@example.com.
PURCHASING THIS CLASS AS A GIFT?
Please provide the participant's name and contact info in the notes section at checkout so we can send the recipient the emails with pertinent class information.
Unless otherwise noted, in-store classes are at the store at 803 Pearl Street, Boulder, 80302. All online classes are taught via Zoom.
ONLINE CLASSES – ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Zoom link is in the reminder email sent by the Monday before class begins. Note that each person who attends an online class needs to register separately, even if sharing a computer. We record online classes as a courtesy and make them available to registered students for ten days after class. They’re not kept or used for other purposes. We do our best but can’t guarantee the recordings since technical glitches occasionally occur.
