Pencil Day 2024- An Art History Lesson
Happy National Pencil Day - March 30, 2024
The annual celebration of this national event has continued to improve each year, with our esteemed resident artist Grey Grimm once again impressing with her pencil-themed gallery wall display created for our front window, featuring renowned art pieces spanning the history of art but modified with a pencil twist.
Grey also curated his year's Limited Edition Pencil Pack featuring a collection of 8 unique pencils and other writing/drawing instruments, showcasing a special theme: Art History Through the Ages greatly inspired by some of the art you see here. Look closely- in some cases the changes are subtle and hopefully they will elicit a little laughter.
