Dancing Birds Boxed Notecards by Aoudla Pudlat
Dancing Birds by Nunavut artist Aoudla Pudlat are highly stylized bird representations exemplifying Pudlat's syle. His fantastically colored Bird of Baffin is full of spirit, and you can almost hear the Bird of the Ice Floe touch down on its webbed feet. Pudlat was a member of the Cape Dorset artistic community, and he learned to draw birds after beginning his career sculpting. He was also an accomplished lithographer and illustrator. The four images reproduced in this boxed notecard assortment show his affinity for the winged creatures of the North.
This set contains twenty assorted 5 x 7 in. blank notecards (5 each of 4 designs) with envelopes in a decorative box.
