Crap Hound Magazine- Cats
Edited and designed by Sean Tejaratchi, Crap Hound is the seminal mixture of social commentary and somewhat overindulgent graphic design. Sean created these visual collections out of the sheer desire to assemble organized clip art and have it accessible to fellow artists in need of reference material.
Between a brief introduction and the end credits, Crap Hound is pure imagery. Each page is filled with high-contrast art, carefully taken from vintage catalogs, advertising, obscure books, and found ephemera mostly from the 1920's to 1960's.
After three decades of reader requests, Sean has finally devoted an entire issue to feline subjects—a long-awaited exploration of cats that addresses the most popular topic in Crap Hound Magazine's storied history.
“Aside from the people who dislike cats, everyone likes cats. They’re so common they might be the default when an animal is called for."
Packed with cats galore—from whimsical to sophisticated—this edition celebrates felines in every imaginable style and aesthetic you can dream up. A must-have for your Craphound collection!
