Woodsmoke- "The mystical aroma of an autumnal fire burning as smoke gently drifts across the room. A sweet, woody perfume of cedarwood, fir balsam, and fragrant forest resins with kindling and natural clove oils."

Each 8 oz. soy wax candle comes in its own unique, artisan mouth-blown smoke grey glass that can be repurposed- it is lead-free and can be cleaned and used as a drinking glass. Skilled papermakers craft the paper stock used for the packaging using 100% certified reusable energy. The design is intentionally constructed without adhesives and is created using 30% reimagined post-consumer materials artfully produced using craft manufacturing and repulpable foils. Flatten the beautiful origami-style box, as the scent of each candle leaves its mark and can be slipped into a drawer to emit a delicate fragrance.

When burned properly, you will enjoy up to 50 hours of a delicate fragrant atmosphere.

Tatine candles offer the highest-quality ingredients possible in their products. Their candles use a combination of high-grade perfumery oils and pure essential oils. This allows them to create a greater range of fragrances, and give more fragrance when candles are burned. Tatine uses only natural soy and vegetable-based waxes with no additives and no added paraffin wax.

Tatine candles are created in a studio housed in the former Hammond Organ Factory in Chicago. Here they strive to bring inspiring olfactory sensations to life with intention. They consider each candle an individual handcrafted, poetic object.

A note on how to burn your Tatine candle:

On the first lighting, burn your candle for one hour for each inch of its diameter until you have a full melt pool. Candles have a "memory", so the first few burns will influence how it burns in the remainder of its life. By allowing your candles to have a "memory burn", you are actually increasing the candles burn time, and by allowing a full melt pool to form from edge to edge of the glass, you increase the scent throw. Additionally, at each subsequent lighting you should trim the wick to 1/4" for best quality.
