Heavy Duty Paper Awl

This tool comes in handy during the bookbinding process to punch holes in book board as well as layers of paper. With a graduated point, you can control the size of hole you want to produce; smaller holes for piercing and sewing pages, a larger hole for book board covers. When punching through heavier materials, use a small hammer to tap the awl. Made with a smooth wooden handle and metal precision point that maintains its sharpness. This awl measures 5" in length.
