Bears Boxed Notecard Set by Robert Bissell

Robert Bissell is well know for his portraits of bears, along with rabbits, butterflies, rats, kangaroos, dragonflies, and a host of other animals. His paintings are large, dreamy, playful, allegorical meditations on the experiences of these animals and, by extension, of human animals.

Bissell studied photography in London, moved to America, spent a decade working for a specialty retail company before starting his own catalog company. He eventually left it all behind in order to make art. You can enjoy and share some of Bissell's dreamy bear portraits with this boxed notecard set.
