Sunprint Notecards- Victorian Botanical Cyanotypes
Sunprint Notecard set contains 12 folded notecards and envelopes. Twelve different all-occasion notecards, reproductions of vintage cyanotypes by Victorian botanist Anna Atkins. Atkins lived from 1799 to 1871 and was both a botanist and photographer. Considered to be the first to publish a book with photographic images, she is also said to be the first female photographer. Her images are as beautiful today as they were over 100 years ago. Irises, orchids, and amaryllises are a few of the featured plants. Perfect card for correspondence or quick notes. The beauty of the designs make them perfect for reuse- recipients can use them in collage, visual journaling, or just as inspiration.
